ACI-Costa Rica and Canada World Youth ACI-CR has been organizing groups coming to Costa Rica for two weeks or more time during the last seven years. Those groups could be from High Schools or any organization that want to give the opportunity to youths to participate and being involved in programs that include: Intercultural Learning, Voluntary Work or Spanish Work Shops or both and Communal Projection. During the last years ACI-CR has worked together with Canada World Youth (CWY) which sends Canadian youths to everywhere in the world. Short Term Groups (high schools, universities and youth organizations) 2, 3 weeks and 1 month: ACI-CR coordinates schedules for groups of 10-30 teens or young people coming with CWY, from high schools, universities, or other organizations, who want to offer the opportunity to their students to be involved in short term exchange programs. The participants are normally aged between 14 to 25 yeras old. You can decide where to stay in Costa Rica or take our suggestions depending on what the group is looking for. To spend time in a Rural Costa Rican community or in a small city, where the group can live with host families and work all together as volunteers for a specific project from the host community. The Voluntary work could be something related to Eco tourism, social work with children, hospitals, etc. Or something more specific like Information technology. However the topic will always depend on what you want to experience. Spanish Work Shops for students of Spanish could be another topic for the program. 
The schedule for those programs include: *Orientation Camp in the beginning
*Cultural and Educational activities
*Social activities like typical parties or football games
*Activities with the Families
*Optional: Spanish Work Shops
*Visits to Volcanoes
*Visits to the beach
*Visit to San José, the Capital City The program also includes: (All the next points will be included in the Program Budget): *Materials for Work Shops and any activity.
*Lodging and food with the Host Families and other places like Hotels.
*Private Transportation in a mini-bus for the group and the whole stay of two weeks or more.
*Entrances to all the National Parks or places to visit.
